“Hi, I have been using VIDBOX to transfer VHS cassettes to my Mac and suddenly the record button will no longer work. I tried reinstalling VIDBOX and I’m still having the same issue. Any idea what the problem could be?”

• If the video and audio still appear before clicking the Record button, a common cause is that the Save Location or the file name entered is not being allowed by the Mac to record to. If the Save Location has changed, see if it will work when changed back. If entering a custom file name, please use only numbers, letters, spaces, and dashes. Some special characters cannot be used for a file name on a Mac.
