“I have the Vidbox for PC, and all the connections correctly plugged into my Sony Handycam, my PC, and Vidbox. However, when I go to the record screen, the software displays a blank playback screen and says to check my connections. What am I doing wrong?”

On your PC go to settings/privacy and change camera and microphone to ALLOW apps to access. I found this through Live phone support US 1-877-484-6246. After this worked, had trouble again and found that the RCA patch cord supplied had a broken tip on the yellow video cord. Always have "known good" patch cords and cables available.

The most common reason we see with this setup is that the wrong cable is being used with the camcorder. Many camcorders require the specific AV cable type that came with it. Please double-check that you are using the same cable described by your camcorder user manual, and contact our support team if it still has issues.
