“will this work for an old sony handycam that doesn’t work? I’m trying to get videos from years ago off the tapes but no clue how. I have the tapes just not a working camcorder”

• The product requires that you have a working player from your tapes that can output to the RCA and/or S-Video connectors on the VIDBOX equipment. Unfortunately, it cannot get content from your tapes directly.
