- Answer The "touch monitor" needs nothing special to activate its surface. Any suitable touching object (whether a finger or stylus,) will work. The touch monitor used in connection with your keyboard saves time and is easy to use. The Viewsonic TD2421 is the last monitor that you need to enhance your computer experience.
