“We have this one on order. However, there is another option that appears to have essentially all of the same functions, but is $600 more expensive? (VMOR506SS). They even look pretty much identical. Does anyone know what the difference between these?”

We did research this question before we bought the less-expensive model. Unfortunately we don't remember the difference, but we do remember we felt it was insignificant. In our opinion. The newer model may have a little more wattage, but we don't think that matters much. We decided by the less-expensive model and its worked perfectly. We've owned it at least a year and we use it frequently.

Hopefully this will help future shoppers as well. Actual response from Viking Sales: "Thank you for your inquiry the door details, vent grill, and the control panel are slightly different. The features are the same thanks."
