“I have a 12” cast iron pan I cook with everyday. However I can not use the back burner when the pan is in use, not enough room between burners to fit the 12” pan and a pot. Would I have the same issue with this cooktop?”

Yes you may still have the same Problem u less you use a small sauce pot on that burner behind it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, though I really like this stove top and it's an improvement over my last one, when using two 12 or 14 in pans, they do touch. For most cooking, it's not an issue. Only when I am cooking a large quantity of food. If you use the middle rear burner, which is almost the same size, you can use the larger pans.
