Hello I bought a used car and it has a viper remote start on it , after about a month the remote stopped working, so changed the battery inside , with a new one , and the lights on remote are now working, but the unit isn't working for the car , , null

Try changing the battery in the transponder. Then have best buy reset the viper unit

Didn’t they give u a little one in case if you lost the other one? That one should work. Sounds like you just need a new one or upgrade?
