Is there a monthly fee to use the smart start remote? null

There is no charge to use the remote. The key fob is good for about a mile, but the Smart Start app uses Bluetooth which is only good for about 33 feet. At that distance and going through the process of using the app, I found the app worthless and deleted it from my phone.

No there isn’t Nikki, but if you purchase the viper remote by use if cell phone there is a yearly charge of $100.00 to operate the app by phone.
