I'd say,yes,it will work with this model car..I don't know if it will affect your warranty,I honestly don't see why it would... The viper is a very good unit, But,if you buy the other starter Fob,the one with more range...be very careful with it,they are fragile I dropped mine a few times while it was on my ketchain,Keychain, it broke and I had to pay $100 for another one. I've had my viper for about five years now and it still works fine...I would say its a very good unit.
