You will need to have a Viper alarm/remote start system that is compatible with the remote then you should not have any problem. Please check the model of both items to make sure they are compatible. For second question. Once you remotely start, you will need to insert your keys and turn it to ON position. DO NOT TURN TO START CAR. Just turn it to the ON position and you are good to go.
