This is a two way remote, so it blinks whenever you have your car on to let you know the signal was read from your remote to your vehicle. the ds4 looks to be only a 1 way, so if the signal didn’t reach your car, then you may not know until you physically go look. The range on the ds4 looks to be only 1/4 mile. This one can do more than that- It extends the range closer to a mile away. Also this has lock unlock button as well as aux, the aux is if you buy the upgraded alarm kit as well or else it’s just another button. When you get the extra 2 way kit remember to ask him to program it for your set time that the car is on, they can change it from 15-30-45-1 hour of being on they usually set it low if you don’t ask, I like the hour one just incase. So if you get this remote you get the single one way remote, your 2 way remote, and also your original key can sometimes work as a 3rd auto start, just ask him how to do it, mine is “lock, unlock lock, or unlock, lock, unlock” really quick to start it with my original key. I really like the 2 way, this is what I would recommend for the extra hundred or so. Good luck.
