• If this phone came with a logo for a carrier, such as Virgin, Net 10, Verizon etc then you can either purchase a phone card for that carrier or go online and set up a account with a debit/credit card/paypal. If you do not know the carrier or need a phone but dont have the finances to pay for service, you can Google "free mobile talk and text" or "voip phone service". Then you will see hundreds of companies that offer free talk and text through a internet connection. Fill out the info and you will be given a number to receive and make calls and texts. But it only works when yr phone can access wifi. You can also use Facebook messenger, which is already installed in the phone.
