Q: QuestionIs this blender 110 volts to 240 volts. I need one fore 220 volts system.
Asked by OliverIceland.
- A:Answer You can find 220v units overseas, but they are even more expensive. We bought a 110 unit and a step down transformer just for it in our Thailand house. Works ok, but maybe long term not as good for the blender?

Q: QuestionDoes it blend dry grains?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hello! The A2500 is certainly capable of blending Dry Grains however, if you are interested in blending things like flours, batters, or doughs for baking, we recommend purchasing the Dry Grains Container. The blades in our Dry Grains Container are specifically designed to create a reverse vortex, pushing dry ingredients away from the blades to prevent packing.

Q: QuestionCAN I GET 220 VOLTAGE?
Asked by SHAH.
- A:Answer It is important to keep in mind that each Vitamix blender is made specifically for the country where it will be used, and Vitamix meets compliance regulations required for a specific country. If you plan to use a Vitamix in a country outside of the United States or Canada, we encourage you to purchase a machine directly from an authorized dealer. To see if there is a dealer available in a specific country, please visit our website here: https://www.vitamix.com/vr/en_us/where-to-buy. When you buy the machine through the distributor, you enjoy the warranty given directly from that distributor. If you purchase a machine in the US or Canada, and take it outside of these countries, you may experience variations in performance. Vitamix blenders are designed to be plugged directly into a properly grounded wall socket, and are not intended to be used with any type of transformer or converter. Vitamix cannot be held responsible for damage to or failure of the blender when being powered by a transformer or converter. Please also note that if a Vitamix product is purchased in one country and then is taken to another country and requires repair, it must go back to the country of original purchase to be serviced. Vitamix does not cover shipping costs in such an instance, nor does it custom build 220volt machines for direct purchase. If we do not have a distributor in the country of your interest, we apologize for the inconvenience. Please know our international market is growing and we hope you check back for future development

Q: QuestionAfter a couple of years with this series it has now gotten weaker I guess because I make smoothies everyday and I over load it So what's happening is it gets going and it will stop and wont work until I cut it off for a few min. Can I have this replaced
Asked by TCruz.
- A:Answer Hi there. Sometimes the machine may emit a burning odor and/or stop temporarily because its thermal protector sensed that the machine was about to overheat. If this occurs, we recommend turning the power switch off for up to 45 minutes, allowing the machine to cool down or reset. To avoid overheating your machine in the future, be sure to ramp the machine up to the highest speed within five seconds of turning it on to activate the cooling fan in the motor. If you are still experiencing issues, please call the Vitamix customer support team at 1-800-848-2649.
