• Yes a tripod will work with it. Personally I'd say no on the recording spring events of you want a few long videos because it takes a long video & makes it into a bunch of short videos Incase it shuts off or something goes wrong with the sd card. But with a editing app b you can put the shorts back into one long video, just a plain in the butt having to do it. Hope this helps
