• It does come with a remote, but when I hooked it all up it automatically synced with the tv, so I’m able to just use the tv remote. Super easy

• It does come with a remote that does quite a bit to enhance sound of the unit and select inputs. If your TV has a HDMI ARC output, the setup is pretty much plug and play and your TV remote will control the volume of the sound bar. if you're using an optical output you can still use your TV remote to control the volume, but you'll need to do a little bit more setup.
