• Back panel has HDMI in, Component In, Composite In, and Coaxial In. Depending on the outputs available on your 'standard' VHS or DVD player, one of these connections should work for you.

• This TV has a component video input. If your DVD player has a component video output, you can connect it. There is only one input, so can only connect one other device, unless you feed everything to the TV through an AV receiver.
