• You absolutely can do this. I did it with a 4ohm speaker. You need an rca analog to speaker wire adapter. Or you could cut the rca cable like I did and run the 2 wires that are inside to your positive and negative connections to your speakers

• Absolutely not. The outputs are not speaker outputs, they are line-level, so you would need an external amplifier to drive speakers.
