• You can get local TV apps on the TV yes. Those will allow you to watch clips of local news and top stories etc. You cannot watch live TV without an antennae though. I would suggest the Mohu leaf for an HD antennae.

• Hi redwing! This TV does include a tuner so you can connect your antenna directly to the TV through a Coaxial cable. Once that is done you will need to run a channel scan and you can use the included VIZIO remote to change channels. Thank you! - Drew
