• Yes, it does have the youtube app. I would double check your wifi strength. I had to get a wifi booster. Nothing expensive. No complaints with the TV so far.

• In my opinion, it is perfect for that. It has YouTube and YouTube TV already installed. Actually has many streaming apps pre-installed including some sports streaming
