• Technically you do not need a phone or laptop to access these things. They are built in to the smart TV. For like HULU, netflix you would need to have an account however.

• Online content can be accessed from the TV dashboard interface using the included remote. You can also cast content from Smart phones and tablets or PCs.

• Hulu and YouTube are installed applications on the SmartCast input on the TV. However, you can cast these applications from a mobile device or cast your screen on the desktop using the Chrome browser.
