“Understand the TV USB input is primarily for loading updates, video/audio files, just like the USBs on a PC. While I understand this primary purpose, can you plug a dongle into the TV USB to charge it- just like you can charge devices like that on a PC?”

While we can confirm that the USB drive does play media content from a USB drive, we cannot confirm that it will provide a charge to attached devices.
