“This TV has two HDMI ports. I am connecting one to my Comcast HD cable box but I also have a Toshiba VCR/DVD combo player that I need to connect via HDMI also. Can I connect this to the HDMI ARC port?? If not, how would I connect it? Thank you.”

The HDMI arc is a dual purpose connection. It can be used as an ordinary input to the TV for your DVD output.
