Which tv is better the 4k tv or this TV? null

I personally bought 40-inch 4K tv. I paid a premium price for it, but when it is compared to other 40-inch TV at home, I can hardly tell the difference in resolution. On top of the premium price of the 4K tv, it also eats up the data at 2-3 time faster than my 1080P TV. I think buying a 4K TV will make sense only if you are buying a 50-inch or larger. For 40-inch, I would think the video quality is not muchf better with 4K. I'd rather save money on TV and data usage charges.

Compared on resolution alone, the 4K TV would have a better resolution as this model displays up to 1080p.
