This tv does have some built in apps. Once you connect the tv to your home network and press the Visio button on the remote it will take you to the apps available the remote also has buttons on it such as Netflix, amazon, iHeartRadio, and a few others. You can also still cast apps to this tv as well such as YouTube and pandora
