• Remote and power cord yes. It does not come with HDMI or other audio/video cables

• Yes, it comes with a remote, batteries, and the AC power cord. It does not come with any other cables. The remote will not control other devices, other than what might work via HDMI CEC, such as an AV receiver. I have a Roku connected to mine, and pressing the Roku remote will turn the TV on and switch the TV to the correct HDMI input. That is what CEC can do.
