“Can I completely avoid use of the SmartCast platform? I use a Roku StreamBar on an old Vizio w/o StreamCast, connect the StreamBar thru HDMI ARC and only see the Roku platform. Can I do same with this updated Vizio?”

I use my Vizio with the Roku Express 4K+ streaming box. You have to go through a few menu choices each time you turn on the Vizio (basically, select the input with the Roku box on it), but the Roku system is worth the minor annoyance.
