If your TV supports Atmos, then you can use any hdmi on your tv but if only your fire stick supports it, then you’d need to plus in the fire stick directly to the sound bar hdmi and then out to the TVs hdmi to get the Atmos to your sound bar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to have a TV that can pass through Dolby Digital + signals. I have a 2015 M-series Vizio TV and it's not able to do so. I connected my devices direct to the HDMI In on the soundbar and it detects Dolby Atmos signals well with anything directly connected, however I am having an issue with having to re-set the input to "HDMI In" whenever I start some content. No issues during playback, but a minor annoyance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your tv has support for dolby digital plus it might allow you to use dolby atmos. But if I remember correctly I believe for it to carry a dolby atmos signal it has to support eARC on both the TV and the soundbar.
