• They are supposed to work in that manner. However this soundbar has significant Dolby Atmos issues. See my review for a full breakdown.

• This sound bar does have a feature called DTS Virtual:X labeled VRT :X on the sound bar's remote settings. When enabled (On), all inputs will produce a virtual sound technology that simulates the effect of having overhead sound.
