• The only thing you would lose is the surround speakers as they need to be behind you. if you just use the bar and the sub in front you should be fine but don't expect a full immersive experience.

• The design of the rear speakers is to create and immersive experience and ambiance helping to better enjoy your favorite movies and games. The rear speakers will still work if placed in a forward position, but you might not experience the full effects of a true surround sound setup.
