While the number of channels can be an indicator to the minimum amount of speakers in the system, it is possible that more than one speaker can be dedicated to a channel. This sound bar model does absolutely have 11 speakers in total.

Please try again later.If you look at the detail surrounding what constitutes the speakers, you get the two surrounds and the two up firing (4), then the sub (1) giving you 5. Each of the front left/front right/center speakers has an independent woofer and tweeter giving you 6 more. Add them together and voila! a total of 11 speakers. Marketing magic at its best, but effectively it is a 5.1.2 system when all is accounted for.
