Rather than measuring in wattage which is just a measurement of power draw, we measure sound bars in sound pressure level, or dB. This sound bar goes as loud as 103dB with a frequency response of 45Hz - 20kHz.

Hi! I am not sure. In my opinion the wattage is not as important as with a stereo. It has plenty of power to produce great sounds. The highs, mids, and lows can all be adjusted to your desired levels. When watching explosions and action on TV, the sound is totally immersive!!
