My sub is too loud more than anything. Sound like you need to double check the level of the sub through the remote. Also make sure it’s plugged in really tightly to the outlet, mine seems to loosen and doesn’t have great connection to my outlet thought that might just be a me issue. It is also possible that you got a defective sub. Call their Support and they will help you troubleshoot it, worst case they should send you a replacement. 877-878-4946
