“This was stated in one of the reviews. "The recommended setup is having the rear satellite surround speakers equal distance to the sides and the same distance to the rear of the seating area as the seating area is from the speaker bar." Is this true?”

I have the rears located a foot behind my couch and about 5 feet out from each side....I have the sub located on the rear corner of the room and this system sounds awesome!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t think it matters. You can adjust the levels of the rear speakers to your liking using either the remote or the SmartCast app on your phone. My set up is equal distance apart and they are near the backside of my sofa angled in toward the viewers.
