“I have a Samsung TV with 4 HMDI ports including one HDMI/ARC. I am using all four HDMI ports already. If I connect the Samsung TV digital audio optical output to the VIZIO 5.1, will my TV remote be able to control the VIZIO 5.1 volume? Thanks!”

• No. Optical Out basically only contains the sound information, not any control signals.

• Connect one of the hdmi input cables to the soundbar input, connect the soundbar out ARC to the ARC hdmi in the tv (if it has one)
