“Can I use my tv remote power on the surround system or do I have to use the remote the surround system came with?”

• I have a 10 yr old samsung smart tv and the soundbar turns on automatically when I power on the tv. and i can use the tv remote to increase and lower the volume of the soundbar.

• I believe it depends on what TV you have, but I have a newer Vizio TV and works with the regular remote. It made me plug the HDMI cord into the first port but nothing to worry about. I only use the soundbar remote to adjust the settings.
