“Does the wifi handle a 5Ghz signal? I can't tell on any specs from best buy if the WiFi Card is 802.11 a/b/g/n or ac. the only one that can see the 5ghz network is the 802.11AC”

I connect it using 5GHz and works perfectly but make sure to use 5GHZ connection only when your router is nearby. 5GHZ is fast but has short connectivity.

Yes, this model has 802.11 ac and can handle a 5GhZ signal.
