It is a 60 Hz panel with an effective refresh rate of 120. I believe it's called clear action 360, but thats it's motion interpolation setting that can be activated. Vizio does a good job with handling motion, and this tv handles motion well.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It s 60 hz. They have extra tweeks they added to make it appear to have 120hz capability. To get true 120hz you want a 60 inch or larger screen size which is advertised as 240 hz.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's true rate is 60Hz but it handles motion better than some true 120Hz TV's. I don't notice any blur. Much better than the Samsung I replaced with this.
