Any applications being sent to your display are sent with Google Cast from your iPad, so any way that you're typing with your iPad should work just fine. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.To set up this TV you will need to download the Vizio SmartCast app - within this app are the controls for the TV - there is no use for a keyboard. In fact, the same controls in the app are the same as the remote. In my household, everyone has downloaded the app and so we all have a remote on our smartphones :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes - but you need to follow the directions by syncing up your ipad or iphone. You need to first load up the Vizio SmartCast app and then walk through the instructions. Make sure that your wifi is active. You will need to hold your iphone and/or ipad to the lower left of the screen on the TV during the sync process and then you will be able to use your iphone/ipad remotely.
