• When you cast content to the display it isn't actually streaming from your phone or mobile device. The phone acts as a control device and sends the display a command telling it to go to Netflix and play the content. Think of the Netflix application as a remote and the display is only doing what the remote is telling it to do.

• On mine, Netflix, Amazon Prime video, YouTube, and 15 other apps are built in. I use them to watch some 4K content. I've never used my phone with this TV.
