The single answer here other than mine is not correct. 4K resolution and HDR are 2 different things. Google has several versions of its stand alone Chromecast. Only the latest greatest is 4K (and HDR) capable and if thats not whats built into this TV then no, it will only cast 1080p. It would be nice to hear from someone who actually owns one to find out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I am able to cast my Netflix with HDR through the Android Tablet remote or you can simply use your phone. Make sure to turn on the feature called HDMI Color Subsampling on the TV settings. You can also use HDR on Amazon Prime Video, Roku, etc. Any streaming services that has HDR capability. If you are going to use a stream box, make sure the box has HDR support and you use an HDMI 2.2 cable.
