“I have 1) Cat5 internet hardwired to the new Vizio M70-D3. Instruction / videos are not clear that 2) tablet's bluetooth connects to the Vizio and then 3) the tablet wifi MUST connect to an independent wifi source. Please confirm all three are required.”

The home theater display can connect through an Ethernet connection. The tablet can bluetooth to the display but you would need it through wifi to Cast to the display. If you need any assistance, feel free to contact us at 1-844-254-8088. Thanks! -Randal
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depending on wifi strength at the tv, you don't have to have the hardwired. My TV is hooked up to my wireless network and my tablet is connected to the same network. Bluetooth is not required
