I just got this set up this week. While the rear speakers aren't extremely loud they do fill the room nicely. I would be more concerned about the subwoofer. But, it all depends upon how your common wall is made and insulated. If you can hear sounds from your neighbor's apartment , then yes, they'll hear the output of these speakers from your apartment. But, if you never hear anything from them, go ahead and hook these up!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If placed by the wall your neighbors might be able to hear the base. You can put it in a stand. I live in an apartment and I haven’t had any complaints but I don’t put it to the max. It can get really loud. I am happy with mine it sounds very clear. Mine is hooked up to my Vizio tv and that’s what I use as tv speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Irrespective of placement probably not the r/l rear channels unless 'very loud'. The subwoofer can sometimes be really boomy, at other times louder, deeper and depending on input/streaming volume, much more likely to be heard by your neighbours. Good sounding 5.1 sound bar specifically with movie soundtracks but because there's no volume leveling/dynamic range limiting, frequent manual adjustments are required to keep the neighbors unentertained.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So the satellite speakers should be heard through the walls, but the subwoofer will most definitely be heard if you do not adjust the bass.
