It's doesn't matter, none of the sound bars are really rated correctly anymore, if the sound bar has a real 30W/RMS it would be plenty if configured correctly, don't get tricked by the way they rate the power at 1Kh limited bandwidth 4ohm, they always inflate the ratings....this Vizio 5.1 soundbar system has plenty of power for over 105db in a large room, it will get very loud indeed and stay relative clean with a little work, highly recommended if you like to tweek and work audio equipment to get the best sound
