“Can this sound bar be setup to NOT automatically turn off when not in use? We want to add a sound bar but having another thing to turn on is a deal breaker.”

Disable the EcoPwr function via your soundbar remote. Make sure you are pointing the remote directly at the soundbar and that you witness the lights change when selecting the "off" option. I ran into this problem initially and despite my remote saying "off" my soundbar had not actually received the change. Also, if you are using a Vizio TV, you can use ARC to have the soundbar turn on & off with the TV power.

If your TV supports CEC, it will turn on and off with the TV.
