You can't hook them all up through the soundbar. Connect the HDMI outputs directly to your TV HDMI inputs. Then for surround sound use the Digital audio output from your TV to the soundbar using the optical cable. You may have to tell the TV to output sound to the digital output, and then turn off the TV's built in speakers. Hope this works, but these hookups can get complicated depending on your particular equipment. If you get stuck the Vizio support chat help works pretty well I have found. They seem knowledgeable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Assuming that your TV has HDMI-ARC capabilities (it's a specific HDMI port that does 5.1 sound as well as video) and most 4k TVs do. Hook all of your other accessories into your TV, so that if you weren't using the sound bar all sound would come from the TV speakers. Then hook the sound bar to the HDMI-ARC input. The sound bar will then play all sound that your TV would. You may have to play around with your TVs settings, but its not too hard.
