A:Answer Tilts from horizontal to vertical/straight up. There are no knobs etc. to fiddle with, you just set whatever tilt you want and it stays put unlike other fans with knobs on the side that always seem to eventually move out of position on there own. I have this one on the floor with about 30 degrees of tilt blowing into a bedroom on the south side of our house that always stays hotter in summer and colder in winter than the rest of the house. Yeah, I know I should adjust the registers in the rest of the house, but...even though I've bumped the fan a few times walking past it, it's pretty much at the same angle I originally placed it at. Tilt adjustment is easy, the whole thing is well balanced and designed so it doesn't take a lot of force to tilt.
