• I wouldn't recommend it as it is designed to fit inside the window itself. The profile is very slom and doesn't reduce windowsill space much if at all.

• Our Window Fans are designed for horizontal installation only. Using it in the vertical or upside-down orientation can put a strain on the motor and could affect the output and longevity.
