“how does this unit get a signal ...recently smashed one I bought it could never get a signal. is there interference from other signals. Have an old Motorola monitor that does fine no signal problem but screen is pretty small?s. Lee”

Did you get a whole set not just one piece? The we got works great had no problems. My husband had a stroke and was not doing well. I put the main unit in his room an another piece in the bedroom so I could hear him breathing. The third one was in the kitchen so if I was cooking I could hear him.
