Yes, non wifi-just plug in!

Please try again later.Wi-fi, a cell phone, or an internet connection is not necessary for this set of units to work, they work on their own without any connection, wi-fi or hard wire, to the internet or a cell phone. I got this to hear my cat outside meowing to come in. All three units of this set just stay plugged in to regular electric outlets. Whether they would work on Wi-fi if you wanted them to do so, I don't know. But I am very happy that I bought it, it works great, and I can also hear anybody walking up to my door, cars going by, planes overhead, bringing in the sounds of the birds singing in the morning. I couldn't be happier, and find nothing to complain about. And hanging from my mailbox, I can turn on the nightlight at night, which alights the loop, and helps me see my keys.
