“I am confused. Dm221-2. Parent unit both have batteries. Baby monitor does not. If power goes out parent unit stays lit because they have a rechargeable battery, but baby monitor does not work … no battery backup. Is this correct?”

• Willow - Yes, the baby unit of the VTech DM221-2 needs to be connected to AC power at all times to function. Only the parent units have battery back up. Thank you, -VTech Support
